SDKs & Integrations

Connecting applications to HeliosDB Full

Use a standard PostgreSQL driver. HeliosDB Full speaks the PostgreSQL wire protocol (port 5432 by default):

LanguageDriverInstall
Pythonpsycopgpip install "psycopg[binary]"
Gopgxgo get github.com/jackc/pgx/v5
JavaPostgreSQL JDBCMaven org.postgresql:postgresql
Node.jsnode-postgresnpm install pg
Rusttokio-postgrescargo add tokio-postgres

See Connecting for examples.

HeliosDB client SDKs

The HeliosDB client SDKs live in HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKs. They are REST clients for the /v1/... API that HeliosDB Nano and Lite serve (branches, vector stores, agent memory). HeliosDB Full serves its HTTP API under /api/v1/... and has no branch endpoints, so these clients do not work with Full. They are listed here for mixed deployments.

The SDKs are not published to package registries (PyPI, npm, crates.io). Install them from the repository:

LanguageInstallWorks with
Pythonpip install "git+https://github.com/HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKs.git#subdirectory=sdks/python"Nano, Lite
Python (SQLite-compat)pip install "heliosdb-sqlite @ git+https://github.com/HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKs.git#subdirectory=sdks/python-sqlite"Nano (runs a local heliosdb-nano)
TypeScript / JavaScriptcd HeliosDB-SDKs/sdks/typescript && npm install && npm run build, then npm install /path/to/HeliosDB-SDKs/sdks/typescriptNano, Lite
Rustcargo add heliosdb-client --git https://github.com/HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKsNano, Lite
Gogo get github.com/HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKs/sdks/go@latestNano, Lite

WASM procedures

The Go WASM procedure SDK (go get github.com/HeliosDatabase/HeliosDB-SDKs/sdks/go/wasm@latest) builds procedures for HeliosDB Full’s WASM host. The current server does not run WASM procedures yet: see the WASM Procedures Quick Start.

Platform integrations

VS Code extension · n8n community node · Zapier app · Make (Integromat) module · Retool REST datasource · Microsoft AutoGen integration. All under integrations/.
